All areasOur top priority is the protection, support and development of the Bulgarian family. We regard the family as a fundamental value and the basic building block of our society. We work to create better social and economic conditions for Bulgarian families, so that they can enjoy a dignified life and the opportunity to develop fully.

Another key focus of our policy is encouraging the birth rate and supporting well-educated Bulgarian families in having three or more children. We advocate for higher child benefits and maternity payments, flexible working hours for young parents, and other financial and social incentives for families.

A core area of the Centre's work is protecting the dignity and improving the quality of life of people in their third age — ensuring adequate health care, financial assistance and access to high-quality, affordable social services.

A core area of the Centre's work is to support, encourage and coordinate efforts to improve living conditions and employment opportunities for people with disabilities, and their ability to take full part in the social and economic life of our society.

Creating opportunities for young people to continue their education or improve their qualifications, and to receive good job offers with flexible working hours, vocational training or an internship from the moment they leave school. We give particular priority to young people without parents, from low-income families and from families with three or more children.

Our philosophy
The wild geese in our emblem fly in a V-formation — together the flock travels far further than any single bird could alone. When one falls behind, others stay with it until it can fly again.
